Directions to Jackson Keay -Nottingham

Directions from M1 South(J21A) / A46 South (Leicester)

You could travel up to junction 24 and then take the A453 Nottingham, but this route avoids a number of traffic black spots

Leave M1 at junction 21A, next junction north following Leicester Forest East services.  Head north on the A46 and continue for approximately 25 miles.

From A46 north take the A6097 north bound, signed for Doncaster, over river Trent at Gunthorpe to traffic island and turn left, A612 Nottingham. Proceed through Bulcote and Burton Joyce. (approx. 4 miles).

There is a large secondary school on the right as you then proceed under a brick arched railway bridge. Continue through a set of traffic lights (left hand lane) and continue in the inside lane through another set of traffic lights. (playing field on the left). Continue through another set of traffic lights (Retail Park and Morrisons supermarket on the left).

At next set of lights turn right, (Ken Wilkins print factory on the right) on to Private Road Number 1. right, Private Road Number 7 and proceed right to the very end. WE ARE THE VERY LAST BUILDING ON THE ROAD.

Directions from A1 North

Take the A1(M) south to J38, continue south along the A1 to Blythe, 7 miles. Take A614 south, continue south along the A614, for 15 miles, past Ollerton continuing south until the road splits off on to the A6097. (The A6097 continues straight on and the A614 bears to the right).

Take the A6097 south straight on at 1st island and continue for approx. 5 miles to the next island (Lowdham). Turn right and proceed through Bulcote and Burton Joyce. (approx. 4 miles).

Directions from A1 South, A52 East (Grantham)

Proceed north on the A1 to Grantham and take A52 Nottingham. After approx. 15 miles take A46 towards Newark for 1 mile at roundabout (right exit)

At next roundabout take A6097 sign posted Doncaster, proceed for approx. 3½ miles. At next roundabout (Lowdham) take left exit, A612 Nottingham. (Lowdham). Proceed through Bulcote and Burton Joyce. (approx. 4 miles).

Directions from M1 Junction 26

From M1 exit junction 26, A610 Nottingham. Continue towards Nottingham on the A610. Attention 30 MPH SPEED LIMIT Digital cameras in operation, taking your average speed over a set distance.

When travelling down the A610 continue straight on (A610) at 2 islands and the 2 sets of main traffic lights before reaching the ring road. Turn left heading towards Mansfield (A60). Continue along the ring road until you join the A60 keep in the outside lane and turn 1st right at the filtered traffic lights.

Vale pub and a church on the left (odd looking spire), continue to island. Straight over on to Arno Vale Road, continue past school on left to a set of traffic lights, go straight on up the hill to another set on lights, straight on.

Down the hill, past a church on the left (traditional spire), straight on at mini island until you reach a set a traffic lights, turn right.

Keep in the inside lane through a set of traffic lights. (playing field on the left). Continue through another set of traffic lights (Retail Park and Morrisons supermarket on the left).

At next set of lights turn right, (Ken Wilkins print factory on the right) on to Private Road Number 1. Take 1st right, Private Road Number 7 and proceed right to the very end. WE ARE THE VERY LAST BUILDING ON THE ROAD.

Directions from M1 junction 24 or A50 West (Stoke-on-Trent & M6)

From M1 J24, take A453 towards Nottingham, past power station.

After 6 miles, approx., traffic island, go straight on past Trent University campus on left, down the hill to a set of traffic lights, straight on, left hand lane and turn left at slip road, turn left A52 Grantham at island.

Continue past ambulance station on right, keep in left hand lane, under the flyover and go straight on at mini island. Continue for approx. 2 miles to the end, turn left at T-junction and get into the right hand lane.

BK Thomas Mercedes dealer on the right move into lane 3 and turn right at Trent Bridge Inn, on to Radcliffe Road, Trent Bridge Cricket ground on the right. Turn left at traffic lights, over the river, turn right at traffic lights and keep in right hand lane.

At traffic lights/island, keep in lane 3 or 4, turn right heading towards Nottingham Racecourse, A612. Straight on at next two traffic islands, past racecourse on right and rail track on left. At 3rd set of traffic lights turn left, large petrol storage tanks on the right. Next right, Private Road Number 7, we are at the very end.

From M6/M56

• From M6 junction 20a head west signed M56 North Wales.
• Head west along M56 all the way to the end and join the A5117 dual carriageway which leads on to A550 and A494, follow signs for Queensferry.
• Pass RAF Sealand on the left, as the new three lane road narrows into two lanes you go over the river Dee, get in the inside lane and take the next exit signed Sandycroft.
• At the traffic island take the first exit left, signed Sandycroft past Macro and a small new industrial estate on the left, go straight on at these traffic lights.
• For commercial vehicles
• Go straight on at traffic lights and continue along this road turning left into Factory Road Industrial Estate at the Bridge Inn Pub (on your left)
• Continue along this road, which turns sharply left and right for approx 1 mile.
• Jackson Keay is on the right just before a large telecom mast and a big blue building signed Jim Reid Trading with small signs on fence for Jackson Keay and Hankinson.

• For cars and vehicles under 7’ 9”
• At next set of lights turn left into Chemistry Lane, opposite a chip shop and signed low bridge.
• After going under the very low bridge (7’ 9”), CARE, turn right.
• Jackson Keay 400 yards on the left, just past Onyx.  Large telecom mast and a big blue building signed Jim Reid Trading with small signs on fence for Jackson Keay and Hankinson.
• Enter and proceed with care all the way to the bottom of the yard, I will put extra signs out on the day.
